Rebuilding of the Xavery Mockers organ

We were delighted to discover the existence of this remarkably well-preserved instrument. Remarkably well preserved" is an understatement, given the instrument's integrity.

Only five parts are not original:

  • the pedal trumpet (Alfred Kern - 1977);
  • the wind mechanism;
  • part of the pedal enclosure, the door of which comes from the « Stiehr brothers », 1869
  •  the 1869 Salicional 8', which replaced a Nasard;
  • the decorations on top of the towers.

The musical parts: windchests, action, keyboard, pedalboard, console, etc., are original.
