Construction of an new organ for the church in Charolles (71)
The stoplist witch was suggested by François Menissier, allows a very wide repertoire to be played with, as the backdrop, the composer Titelouze and the organ in Rouen in the first half of the 17th century.
We would like to underline the commitment of the town of Charolles, which, by making the courageous choice of this building, has enabled our workshop to express itself. We're very grateful, especially as it sets an example that great cultural and religious projects are still possible today.
The Association des Amis de l'Orgue de Charolles is also a driving force behind this project.
We would like to thank Dominique Thomas and Jean-Marie Tricoteaux for the many measurements they have provided, as well as Pascal Quoirin.
