a Claviorganum

Claviorganum - 2009/2010

The organ was built entirely in our workshop.

The range is 53 notes (G°, A° to c ''')

Transposed to the four pitches 392 / 415 / 440 / 466 by lateral displacement of the harpsichord keyboard.

The case is made of poplar veneered with blond walnut, enhanced by generous walnut mouldings. The openwork panels were designed by Antoine Fontaine. The decoration is based on a 17th-century piece of furniture from southern Italy.

The windchest is in quartered oak with very light oak valves.

The organ is played on the harpsichord keyboard.

The pipes are made of cypress.

The entire instrument has been made in the traditional manner.
